Beliefs

I believe in the God of the Bible.

I believe in the Triune God. I believe that God is holy and perfect. He is creator of all and He is sovereign.

I believe humanity is born is sin and shaped in iniquity. I believe we are born enemies of God and are deserve death and eternal separation because of our sin.

I believe that Christ, the Son of God, paid the wages of our sin through His perfect life, brutal death, and spectacular resurrection and that all who accept Christ as their savior shall be saved.

I believe that when we accept Christ as our savior that we receive the Holy Spirit and that the Spirit of God regenerates us, sanctifies us, and begins to help us exchange our sinful affections for godly ones. I believe that the Christian’s faith in God produces increasingly consistent godly works.

I believe that God is good and loving. I believe that He is worth every difficult and strange sacrifice that He requires and that I am better off because I believe in Him. However, although I am better off, I do not believe that I am better than those who do not believe in Christ Jesus.

I believe in the effectiveness of relational evangelism and discipleship as opposed to abusing strangers with scripture. I  believe in the practical. I believe in giving water to the thirsty, providing shelter to the homeless, sharing a meal with the drug dealer, and etc… all while speaking and showing biblical truth in love and humility.

I believe in fun.

I believe part of ministering to people has to include smiling, laughing, and engaging in enjoyable activities.

I believe in taking risks.

I believe that Christians should be the biggest risk takers because we know the end. We know that we win. No matter what happens. No matter the obstacles we face. We win in Jesus! I can go all in because my future is secure in Christ and He’s worth the investment.
